Iolite Initial Necklace

Natural iolite, cut into 4.3mm square heishi beads in deep indigo, soft violet, and misty blue gray, finished with a polished gold front clasp and made to wear with a puffy bubble letter initial charm. Iolite shifts color as you move, from violet blue to soft gray, so the necklace looks a little different every time the light hits it.

Sometimes called water sapphire, iolite is said to have guided Viking navigators, who used thin slices of the stone to find the sun on cloudy days. It has long been known as a stone of vision and direction, which makes this initial necklace a meaningful gift for your girlfriend, wife, sister, best friend, or bride to be, for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, or as her something blue.

The front sailor clasp opens easily, so you can swap the letter for another charm or stack a few charms together whenever you like.

Natural gemstones and gold-plated pieces last longest with a little care:

• Take your jewelry off before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
• Put it on after lotion, perfume, and hairspray.
• Wipe gently with the included polishing cloth; avoid chemical cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Store pieces separately in a dry pouch or box to prevent scratches and tangles.
• For stretch bracelets, roll them on and off rather than pulling the cord.

Made to order: every piece is handcrafted for you. Production takes 3–5 business days, then shipping begins.

Delivery: US 3–5 business days (USPS). International 10–15 business days; customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
